5v5 Rules Summary
Game Rules
- 5 players on the field per team, including goalkeeper if used
- 30-minute games with a running clock
- Substitutions on the fly at midfield
- Kick-ins for balls out of bounds, no throw-ins
- No offside
- Goalkeepers allowed, but no punts
Fouls & Equipment
- All fouls restart with a direct free kick
- Slide tackling is not allowed
- Shin guards are required
- Cleats are allowed, but no metal studs
- Sportsmanship is expected from players, coaches, and families
Tie-Breakers
- Head-to-head result
- Goal differential, capped at +5 per game
- Goals scored
- Fewest goals allowed
- Coin toss if still tied

Game Day Operations
